Wanggatun waliyt (Long, long time)
Our peoples have lived here for a long, long time. We’ve lived here since time began, when our Creation Ancestors made us, more than two thousand generations ago.
Our memories, histories, science and Laws have been passed down the generations through stories, songs and designs.
Country is embedded with stories and signs. They are tracks that can lead us on a journey back through time, through thousands of generations when our peoples lived with a giant animal we now call Diprotodon.
